Perry Youth Wrestling is the very genesis and foundation of the Perry Wrestling Program. It introduces young boys and girls to the sport of wrestling and begins preparing and forging them into the future state champions they will become. The coaches focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of the sport and how to be triple tough - tough in spirit, mind and body. Perry Youth Coaches are all Perry Alums and contribute countless hours mentoring and developing these young athletes.
OWA provides an opportunity for young men & women to build character and values through the great sport of wrestling. Our mission is to assist them in reaching their highest potential in wrestling, leadership, life & community. We believe that the sport of wrestling instills lifelong lessons in many areas of their lives. These include responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, perseverance, self-discipline, loyalty, ethics and accomplishment.
